【Celebrating the Class of 2026: NTUE International Graduation Ceremony】
On May 29, 2026, the Office of International Affairs at National Taipei University of Education (NTUE) hosted a warm and memorable International Graduation Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our graduating international students.
The event brought together graduates, faculty members, and staff for an afternoon filled with joy, gratitude, and heartfelt memories. As students prepared to complete their academic journey at NTUE, the gathering offered a special moment to reflect on their experiences in Taiwan and celebrate this important milestone together with the NTUE community.
The celebration opened with warm and encouraging remarks from Chien-Han Chen and Ying-Yu Lin. They congratulated the graduating students on their achievements and expressed sincere appreciation for their contributions to the NTUE community. In their speeches, they encouraged graduates to move forward with confidence, resilience, and an open heart as they embark on new chapters in life, while reminding them that they will always remain part of the NTUE family.
A highlight of the gathering was the alumni sharing session by Dylan Byrd, an alumnus of NTUE’s International Learning and Teaching Program and currently a teacher at Yang Ming Senior High School. Drawing from his journey as an international student and educator in Taiwan, he shared valuable insights on career development, adapting to new environments, and embracing opportunities after graduation. His inspiring story encouraged graduates to stay curious, stay courageous, and continue pursuing their goals with determination.
The ceremony also included a certificate presentation and a group photo session. President Chen Ching-Ho attended the event in person to present awards and gifts to the graduates and join them for commemorative photos, adding a particularly meaningful touch to the celebration. These moments created a warm and joyful atmosphere, as graduates reconnected with classmates, professors, and friends while sharing memories of their time at NTUE.
Coming from diverse countries and cultural backgrounds, NTUE international graduates have enriched the campus with their perspectives, talents, and energy. Their journeys reflect not only academic achievement, but also personal growth, adaptability, and a spirit of global connection.
As the Class of 2026 moves forward to new journeys—whether pursuing further studies, starting professional careers, or exploring opportunities around the world—we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for continued success and happiness.
