About International Cooperation

🌏 International Cooperation and Partnerships at NTUE

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) is dedicated to fostering a more internationally oriented campus at NTUE. Through financial support for faculty and students participating in overseas internships, study visits, and academic conferences, NTUE actively encourages meaningful global engagement and the development of valuable international experiences.

In addition, the OIA continuously seeks diverse opportunities to strengthen collaboration with our partner institutions around the world. Each year, NTUE hosts Language and Culture Programs designed to promote cross-cultural understanding and academic exchange. For instance, students from our partner universities in Japan and Korea are invited to participate in the NTUE Language and Culture Program held every January and March.

During the summer vacation, NTUE students also have the opportunity to visit partner institutions abroad, further enhancing their global learning experience through direct cultural and academic immersion.

Since 2016, partner institutions from Europe and the Americas have been invited to join the NTUE Language and Culture Winter Program each December. Participants in this program are able to experience Taiwanese culture firsthand and take part in local New Year celebrations, gaining a deeper appreciation of Taiwan’s traditions and cultural heritage.
