  • Selection period: April–May (details will be announced on the OIA website).

On-Campus Exchange

  • NTUE regularly hosts students from Europe, the U.S., Korea, and Japan in Dec, Jan, and Mar.
  • Giving NTUE students chances to connect globally without leaving campus.

Seasonal Camps

  • Short-term programs in Japan, Korea, Mainland China, and beyond during summer and winter breaks.
  • Expand global perspectives, experience diverse cultures, and build lifelong friendships.

✈️ Overseas Field Study Programs

Since February 2014, NTUE has implemented the "Guidelines for Overseas Field Study Course Subsidies" to encourage departments to design and integrate overseas field learning experiences into their curricula. Each academic year, one specialized or interdisciplinary course per department (or institute) is eligible for this subsidy.

Maximum Subsidy per Student

Asia
NT$ 15,000
Oceania
NT$ 22,500
Americas, Europe & Africa
NT$ 37,500

Strong Support for Internationalization

To expand these valuable opportunities, NTUE actively secures additional funding from the Ministry of Education's Teaching Innovation Pilot Project and the Higher Education Sprout Project. Since September 2017, the subsidy amounts for both leading faculty and students have been increased, serving as a robust and reliable backing for the internationalization of our academic community.
